Measure the value delivered

Published on 29 July 2026 · 1 min read

"The feature works" is not success.

Success is: the business problem is actually reduced. Fundamental #7 of Forward Deployed Engineering: measure the value delivered.

What we measure

With our customers, we track concrete indicators: the time to migrate a supplier spec sheet — minutes instead of hours; the time to respond to a tender with a complete dossier; the reformulation time when a raw material becomes unavailable; labelling non-conformities caught before printing, not after.

Each is tied to a real business problem, not to a checkbox in the spec.

The spec is not the value

If none of those numbers move, the solution is not finished — even if every box in the spec is ticked.

A delivered feature that reduces none of these delays has produced nothing. Measuring gives you the right to say "not yet" when that is the case.

Value quantified before you sign

This is also why our demo includes a ROI simulation: value is quantified before you sign, not after. You see, on your own orders of magnitude, what the platform saves.

Measuring continuously afterwards ensures the solution stays aligned with the outcome — not just the specification.
